a)
1. I think #1 has a solid on the bottom because i have heard that milk's protein gets solidified when boiled. Although the milk was not boiled, the temperature was close to it, so perhaps that was the case.
2. #2, to my eyes, looked like yogurt. It was gushy behaving in a way that yogurt would in a cylinder. The yogurtness disease has over taken the milk and turned milk into yogurt under the best condition bacteria could live in.
3. I think #3 stayed milk because ampicillin stopped the yogurtness disease. Because Ampicillin is made to get rid of bacterias, it killed them and let milk be milk.
4. #4 was milk with E.coli, and not like #1, it did not solidify. Maybe solidification of milk has something to do with bacteria.
b)
-the temperature could have been too low
-i could have mixed up what to put in each cylinders
-i could have not sealed the cylinders right
